As we drift in
the stream of
our days we
come upon an
odd moment
evokes our wit,
smile that wash
the doldrums,
discover merits
in ourselves
that have been
buried in the
dimmer days, like
little gold nuggets
found in sands, they
brighten our soul.

A chilly autumn evening here, and I have spent the better part of it reading your poetry.
Many thanks for the peace, beauty and wisdom that you write.
One more poem, and one last sip of tea, then I’m off to bed.

Although I’m not ashamed of my writing, I think most of poems on my site need to be polished. Thank you so much for enjoying them as they are. It means a lot to me. I love your poetry also.
