After visiting my daughter, I took these photos while driving through
Montana on last Sunday morning. The innocent clouds on
the mountains were spectacular.

Comparing a person
to a sparrow that tries to fly
like a hawk
Comparing a person
to a fish that wants to walk on land
Unlike sparrow and fish,
Person can achieve anything
she or he wants to do
If goal isn’t met,
main culprit is wrong method or
lack of perseverance.

At the end of the summer,
wrinkled, ragged, yet
smirk, spewing the fireballs of
a mad dragon lady, with egoism,
only to plunge into the cool river that
laughs and mutters:
Find your smile wedged in cracks of wisdom.

Sometimes, we get a thorny reaction
for being kind.
Discover the little mystery
behind that frown.
It might be just the stench in the breeze
from the cow-hill.
Be cool, and see the relationship bloom.

Like blind man’s eyes
the door to the famed store
sees no one, silent, gone with
the hay days.
Every where new ones,
lively, full of hope, bustling
with young and bright faces–
asparagus after rain.
Some change for the sake of
change, in hopes to draw eyes,
to find a promising road to
the dream land.
An old dame steals
a glance at the nostalgist.
We nod, unspoken, yet
agree: we gray-heads are still
in crowd.
