Yes, it is too bad. A few years ago I was lucky enough to have a bird’s nest at my front door, within a honeysuckle vine. It was so enjoyable to see the babies and watch their growth. Not so much the next year when an extremely territorial robin nested under my back deck and relentlessly dive-bombed us every time we dared to step out our back door!
Robins are dare-devils. Once we put a fake owl on the wall under the eave of my house to scare away the woodpeckers. Robins then built their nest right next to the owl. Every time our cat passed under it, the robins would swoop down on him to peck on his back! 😲
Exquisite, a poem, a story, a whole book in that photograph!
