night of the first frost
home invading boxelder bugs’
death in sudden chill

game of the first frost
garden mums lost their bright smiles
at sudden cold night

bygone hot summer
mirrored in November sky 
search for the missing child

  2. Thank you, Derrick. Here in USA, many kidnaping or murders happened last summer alone which were not unusual. Of all the crimes, abducting or killing children are especially heart wrenching; last summer, a six-year old Wyoming boy was abducted by a woman; they haven’t found him yet. 😢
